Though they only had one good album, I’m surprised “Bush” didn’t make the list.
@Matt (what happened to CU Warrior?): Bush was neither seen nor heard from this election season, hence their exclusion from this list.
Hmmmm…he wasn’t seen or heard from, but I’m quite certain his name was brought up in nearly every single speech of the winning campaign.
@CU Warrior: I thought the band Bush was a …. band. Why do you refer to them as “he”?
p.s. Did you notice that many of the bands that didn’t make this list, have often recorded w/ Bush in the past? Freaky coincidence, no?
It was a one man band. Sort of how the Ben Folds Five was actually only 3 people. Bush is actually just Gavin Rossdale and a couple empty suits. Sorry for the confusion.
Another great off-topic post Ron… here’s my crack at McPalin’s Top Ten Movies from this election season… let me know if I am missing any.
10. Juno
9. Throw Obama from the Train
8. The Grandfather
7. No Country for Old Men

3. Clueless
2. The Hunt for the Red Obama

“Obama and Pappas”? This is why we need to bring back the Gong Show . . . for blogs!
